Consultancy Active Tree Care have a pro-active approach to work. The identification of tree defects and related problems at an early stage and making decisive recommendations based upon sound, honest and in depth arboricultural knowledge are key factors which have projected David’s reputation, and that of the company, forward over the years. Owners of trees do have a legal responsibility to ensure that their trees are in a safe condition. The person inspecting those trees should be able to demonstrate that they have sufficient knowledge to do so. The Lantra Award of “Professional tree Inspector” was developed as a benchmark standard of a person’s ability to assess a trees condition at a professional level. David James achieved this award in 2009 and can carry out a full assessment of your tree stock whether it is a single tree or trees within a large estate. Projects: A rural property set in approximately 4 acres of woodland was purchased by Mr “L” (name protected) the site is located close to Wellington within a picturesque valley setting. Shortly after purchasing the property and against Mr “L’s” wishes a Tree Preservation order (T.P.O.) was served by the L.P.A. which affected all of the trees within the site.  Mr “L” was distressed at this decision and eventually contacted Active Tree Care Ltd and instructed David James to act on his behalf. David then put together an action plan to appease all parties and the end result, six months later, was that the T.P.O. was lifted.  Images of the site shown
